Welcome to The 2nd National Conference for Young Women Affected by Breast Cancer. In 2007, Young Action on Breast Cancer - a small group of dedicated young breast cancer survivors - organised the first Australian conference for young women affected by breast cancer. It was an important meeting that highlighted many of the unique needs of younger women.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, and the impact of a diagnosis can be even more devastating for young women. Over 700 women under the age of 40 are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in Australia.

The 2nd National Conference for Young Women Affected by Breast Cancer is an opportunity to learn, network, share, raise awareness and further advance the needs and issues of young women in Australia. The conference will be convened at the Radisson Resort Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia by Cancer Council Queensland. We warmly invite you to join us for this special event.
